ngshot is a time-sensitive content app from Facebook and an attempt to compete with the king in this field – Snapchat, an app to send pictures that disappear as soon as they've been viewed. Registering for Slingshot requires confirmation via your smartphone, but it takes less than two minutes to register and start sharing content. Of course, to use this app, you'll need friends who are also on it or you won't have anyone to send your pictures to. One of the most interesting features is that, in Slingshot, the recipient can only see your picture if he or she sends you one, too. You can also respond to any image instantly by taking a picture right after viewing it. After you take a picture, you can do some basic edits in the app, such as drawing with your fingertip in different colors. Slingshot is a fun app to experiment with communicating with your friends in a new way.
