Some of those early games have managed to survive to this day, with versions for new generation consoles and stunning redone graphics. Here’s a little help in case you’re not good with names: Space Invaders, Enduro, Keystone Kapers, PitFall, etc. Ring any bells? Developed in C++, Stella is an Atari 2600 emulator that lets you enjoy all of that console’s games again. Graphics, sound, and functioning of the original versions are all perfectly emulated by Stella.
