ionMail helps you keep your inbox empty by automatically trashing any email from an email address with a nonexistent domain. It also gets rid of other emails with a series of filters (called 'defensive actions') that check the sender, name, subject, and size before deciding whether to clear it. Besides that, there's a 'trusted addresses' list where you can save email addresses you trust to make sure those emails make it to your inbox, similar to a contact list. When a new email is detected, ActionMail launches a customized notification mixed with animation and sound. You can create countless customized notifications with any GIF or WAV file with an assistant included in the settings. This application is easy to use, even for those without a lot of computer experience. There are five levels of aggressiveness by which you can set up all the application's defensive actions with a single click. Besides that, all the databases can be compressed at your request to maximize speed and free up space. ActionMail supports up to 10 email accounts (POP3), 250 filters, and 100 trusted addresses. It comes with an installation and uninstallation wizard and automatically checks for new versions, which are installed without having to uninstall the previous version.
